I used to think midlife was the beginning of decline. Midlife didn’t bum me out particularly, and I was always hopeful that I would beat the curve and remain healthier than my mom and grandmother. But the decline was out there, it was dreaded, and it definitely began around midlife.
Read More →It’s a powerful thing to be together with others looking in a collective but personal direction. Join a group of women inspired to learn more about themselves and the phase of midlife. Come to learn, connect, reflect and expand, at your own pace and with guidance, space, and the support of other women.
The retreat will begin at 4:00 Friday, October 18 and will conclude at 1:00 Sunday, October 20. Accommodations in La Conner, food and nourishment, support and thoughtful details are provided. You will have space for yourself, permission, and prompts to gain clarity on what you want and need in your life right now.
It’s designed to balance reflection and the work of thinking about things that matter; having time and space for yourself and connecting with other women; and structure and free time.
Maybe it’s just a time and space that you don’t have to plan yourself or make happen, that is for you alone, or whatever other “work” you haven’t had time to do in your busy life. Reconciling something lingering, getting clear on a soft boundary or thinking about what’s next for you. Any clarity serves us as we continue to care for everyone, and start to think about our own needs.
If you have questions, or would like to hear more about it, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
